Privacy Policy
This app has no accounts and no sign-in. Almost everything stays on the phone. The only things that leave the device are the weekly report sent to a family member and the nickname and score used for the daily ranking. In rock-paper-scissors, camera images are never stored or transmitted. The bonus video that appears every tenth session is different: it is something you record deliberately for your family, so it is stored.
What we collect
- Voice recordings — your answers in "Today's Record". They are stored on the phone. If you have set a family member's email address, they are uploaded when the weekly report is sent so that person can listen via a link. We do not transcribe or analyse the contents.
- Camera (rock-paper-scissors) — used only to recognise your hand shape. Frames are converted to hand-joint coordinates on the device and discarded immediately. No photo or video is stored or transmitted.
- Bonus video (every tenth session) — once every ten sessions, the "Make a Wish" screen invites you to record a 15-second video. This one is stored and sent to your family member, because that is the point of it. If you would rather not, press "skip this time". Like the voice recordings it is deleted automatically after 7 days, and the link in the email opens only on the first device that opens it — and, if you have set a passcode, only with that passcode.
- Task results — numbers such as correct answers, reaction times and elapsed time.
- Nickname — only if you choose to set one. Shown in the daily ranking.
- Family member's email address — only if you enter one. Used to send the weekly report.
We do not collect your name, date of birth, phone number, address, location or contacts.
Where it is stored
- By default all records stay on the phone only.
- When the weekly report is sent, the metrics and recordings are uploaded to Cloudflare (R2). Uploaded recordings are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- The "listen" links in the email bind to the first device that opens them. Forwarding a link does not let anyone else open it.
- Links stop working after 7 days.
- If you set a six-digit passcode in the app, even someone holding the link cannot open it without that number. The number itself is never stored — only an irreversible form of it — and each link allows five attempts.
- Nicknames and scores used for the ranking are deleted automatically after 48 hours.
- Email is delivered through Cloudflare as well.
Sharing
Apart from the report sent to the family member's email address, we do not share or sell data to anyone. We use Cloudflare (storage, delivery and email) and Google (ads) to operate the service.
Advertising
Google AdMob banners appear at the bottom of the home and completion screens. Google may use advertising identifiers; see Google's advertising policies. No ads are shown while you are doing the exercises.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes every record held on the device. Recordings on the server disappear by themselves after 7 days; to remove them sooner, contact us at the address below.
The recording links have no login, but they bind to the first device that presses "listen". After that they open only from that device and browser. If you need to listen on another device, move the link there before opening it.
Children
This app is not directed to children.
